What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: I went in for a routine ultrasound yesterday and found my baby measuring right on time at 9w1d with a very healthy heartbeat. I also saw the fetus move during the ultrasound. However, my doctor found a subchorionic hematoma and put me on complete bed rest, and said my chances of miscarriage are higher if it increases in size. this totally got me scared. I am 21 years old and healthy but have just recovered from a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks. How possible is it that I will go on to have a healthy pregnancy
Brief Answer:
Rest and medicine as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I completely understand your anxiety about the issue.
It is indeed a serious matter and thus you need to be very cautious about it since you already have had an abortion.
Take bed rest as advised and avoid exertion, even intercourse.
Take a healthy diet and all the medicines as prescribed.
I hope everything will be fine on repeat scan but nothing conclusive can be said at this stage.
Get a repeat scan after ten days for evaluation and till then follow all above instructions.
Cause in such cases is usually not known and even if there is a cause, management stays the same.
