Brief Answer:
It is important to exclude UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I have gone through your son's findings in detail.
Urine analysis findings may suggest urinary tract infection(UTI).
UTI is indicated by presence of excessive pus cells in urine.Up to 5 pus cells are normally found in urine. However, some laboratory consider upper limit of pus cells in urine as 10.UTI can be confirmed by urine culture/sensitivity.Nitrite test and leukocyte esterase test can also be done for confirmation of urinary tract infection.

Trace amount of protein is normally found in urine, otherwise it may also be related to UTI(UTI may cause excessive excretion of protein).

If UTI is not confirmed then he may need other tests like 24 hour protein excretion in urine.

He need proper clinical examination and routine investigations.
Investigations include random blood sugar, ultrasound of abdomen.

He may need antibiotics based upon culture and sensitivity report.
Drink plenty of water.
I also suggests alkalyzing syrups to my patients.

His findings also suggests anemia(low hemoglobin level).
Most likely it is iron deficiency anemia.
Empirically he can take iron rich foods like green leafy vegetable, jaggery etc.
He can also take iron-zinc combination tablet once daily. He can take one glass of lemon water along with iron tablet,it helps in better absorption of iron.
Single dose of folic acid tablet should also be taken.
If he is non vegetarian then he can also take liver etc.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.

got urine cultured. Looks fine no growth. UTI possibility ruled out. Our doctor says + one protein not significant. I will keep up your advice on the diet part for low iron.
