Brief Answer:
UTI present, occult blood requires lower GIT exam

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

The interpretation of urine analysis is as follows:
Presence of white blood cells (WBCs) and leukocyte esterase in urine suggests presence of bacterial infection in the urinary tract.
Appropriate antibiotic is required to treat the urinary tract infection.
Presence of red blood cells (RBCs) in urine suggests bleeding in the urinary tract.
Bleeding can occur due to injury in the urinary tract. Stones are commonest cause of bleeding in the urinary tract.
Presence of protein in urine suggests injury to the filtration barrier of the glomerulus.
Injury to the filtration barrier leads to passage of proteins in urine which are not normally present in the urine.
This condition is seen in number of kidney diseases.

Occult blood refers to presence of minute quantities of blood in stool which is not obvious to naked eye.
Presence of occult blood in stool is an alarming sign.
It should be followed by complete examination of the lower gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
Occult blood is seen in malignant conditions of the lower GIT.However, malignancy is not the only condition causing a positive occult blood in stools.

Thanks and take care
