What Effect Would Acepromazine Have On Humans?

Question: Acepromazine is a sedative for dogs. How is it used for humans? I know meds have different effects on humans vs. canine
Brief Answer:
sedative for humans
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Though the effect of Acepromazine is the same on humans as that of dogs (both being mammals) they are not longer in use in humans. Earlier to 1950 it was used as antipsychotic which is not replaced with Chlropromazine as base drug of phenothiazines.
It cause sedating effects and also used in motion sickness for dogs. As I said it is not longer in use and no longer manufactured.
