Brief Answer:
Its stage IIA.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Are you able to mention what does the pathologist report say?

If the pancreas cancer spreads to intestines (without distant metastases) and there is no lymph nodes involved this is the stage IIA.
In case of lymph nodes involved its stage IIIB.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

What is prognosis like ? I dont have report . But hes had 4 operations. They keep cutting it out

Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (18 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
It seems that this is not a pancreas cancer.

Detailed Answer:
From your other question I can see that the cancer is treated for more than 6 years. Please note that If it was a real pancreas cancer, this person would be gone long time ago. We say that the prognosis of pancreas cancer in stage IIA is 7%. In the medicine it means zero chances for 5 years survival.
Even early pancreas cancer gives only less than 14% chances for 5 years survival. Pancreas cancer is the one we can not deal with at all.

So in my opinion, this person does not have pancreas cancer. Maybe it is some type of cancer which has spread to pancreas and intestines. That is why I have asked you about the pathologist report. Without it, I can not tell anything about prognosis.

Sorry was bowel cancer originally.

Now in liver, liver mets are 7cm, 8cm, 6 cm. and pancrease. The recent chemo stopped further mets but liver mets grew bit.

Now bilirubin rising n he has jaundice, weights now 47 kg, not eating. Kidney reading are high. ( stage 3)

How during chemo has this hsppened

?

Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (4 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Colon cancer stage 4.

Detailed Answer:
Well, bowels cancer is very often chemotherapy resistant. It means that the chemo does not kill cancer cells. That is why liver mets has appeared.
From your description, this is stage 4 colon cancer. It seems that not much more can be done. Especially that liver and kidneys are failing.

Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (3 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Liver transplant is impossible.

Liver transplant is not the solution. Cancer cells are in many other areas.
Considering liver and kidney failure, few months has left to this person. I am sorry telling you that.

Im very concerned as initially he had only 1 liver met n theu did not operate or ablate just gave chemo . Op coukd have extended survival right ? But why r kidneys failing too ?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (8 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Ablation is still possible.

Detailed Answer:
Yes, liver met removal or ablation could extend the survival. Ablation is still an option if this person general condition would be fine (including kidneys).
Kidneys are falling due to cancer development and dehydration.
