What Is A Green Mole In The Eye?
Question: what is a green mole in the eye?
Brief Answer:
It may be a melanoma
Detailed Answer:
Pigment cell is a melanocyte. And it is not normal to see them within the eye. I urge you to see your doctor who can record the size, margin (plane or truncated) and whether or not it is raised. Accordingly he/she will decide to observe it periodically or refer you to an oncologist.
Hope I have answered your query.

Dear Dr. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Dash
Thank you for your informative answer. I had recently seen a doctor after five years. He told me the spot had become thicker, larger but it was not orange. Now I have been told it is green. What do these colors have to do with melanoma or melanocyle?
So your comments fit into this pathway I have been troding. what a great idea to bring understanding to constant thought treadmill.
Thanks XXXX
Brief Answer:
color is not important size be watched.
Detailed Answer:
You are welcome. As i have said color is influenced by . color of skin hair iris. any way color is not important. If thickness and size is increased, this is to be watched. After 6months the same doctor should review it for observing thickness and size. If it is still increasing then malignancy may be suspected and oncologist to be consulted.Tome it appears to be normal. For malignancy treatment is surgery and chemotherapy. Hope for the best.
