Sorry to hear this - sounds a bit unusual.
TMT is treadmill exercise testing - ECG, heart rate and blood pressure are monitored as you run on the treadmill. It is done to see the risk or confirm suspected CAD - Coronary Artery Disease. If it is negative for inducible ischemia, it is actually a good sign!
A report is generated by the computer - and has to be always checked by the doctor. The interpretation by computer could at times be misleading - electrical interference, unsteady base line and so on is a few reasons / a visual check by the physician is a must in all cases.
Possibly, there was such a discrepancy in your case / also, it is probable that there were considerations other than the TMT - which they may not wish to disclose or discuss? ...
