Question: MY SON AGE 11 YEARS AND SERUM TESTOSTERONE MEASURES 1.2 pg/ml and SERUM PROLACTIN 18.0 ng/ml. phallus length measure -3.0 cm. For the above Doctor suggested ---1. PROVORONUM 2.SEMIBROM Whether these tablets are advisable ...pl suggest for any side effects regards XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX , Hi! what i could see from your query is that everything is normal so why bromocriptine and Mesterolone (anabolic steroid) were prescribed? Also tell me the reason why did you get your son tested for Testosterone and prolactin? if you are worried for small penis, it is too early an age (11 y) and secondly still if you want to assess normalcy then you will have to undergo GnRH stimulation test. Regards!
