Brief Answer:
this is minor procedure of removing painful tissue

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to XXXXXXX
Surgical approach for vulvodinia is usually recommended after there is no success of all other treatment methods.it is done under general anasthesia and last for 30 min. It includes excision of vaginal vestibule and perineoplasty. So part of tissue aroind your vaginal opening and ureteral opening is removed and reconstructed by few stiches. Outcome is great, your genitals looks almost like before surgery and from outside nothing is noticable until labia minors are spread. Pain usually disappear soon.wish you good health.
