What Is The Cause And Treatment For Genital Warts?
Genital Warts; Removal recommended; safe sex pls
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Hi there XXXXXXX XXXXXXX From Your clinical description & history, it does appear more likely than not, you have been afflicted with Genital Warts. Please do put up a close up photograph of the lesion if you should care to. For best results, please drop into your dermatologist's office & get the lesions removed by 'freezing' or 'electrosurgery' or 'lasers' depending on the equipment available & the particular dermatologist's experience. Alternatively a trial with 5% 5 Fluorouracil cream or 1% podophyllotoxin solution may be tried & your dermatologist will guide you through the process.
Good Luck & do please practice safe sex irrespective of the age at which you started out. Godspeed!

Lesions need to be 'excised'
Detailed Answer:
Hi there XXXX
I do understand your concerns.
For the record, warts..genital or otherwise need not be only 'sexually transmitted' even if on the genitalia. They are transmitted through 'contact' & this can occur in kids too.
Second, 2 months is enough time to develop this & not always do the partners' exhibit symptoms if they are just silent carriers'.
Third..I based my diagnosis on your history & clinical description & the fact that you only noticed it now. It could very well have been there earlier & could be a case of a nevus that appeared in adulthood & is benign.
In either case, it will have to be dealt with by the same methods I suggested to remove the lesion as I presume you desire too. So, please don't worry about what it can be as it is there for sure. First lets deal with getting it off. A biopsy at that point will be the only one that can clinch the diagnosis & you need to visit someone @ ground 0 for this.
I do hope I have clarified the issue & the priority being to excise or remove the growth & wish you continued good health.
Good Luck & Godspeed & wish you a happy married life. Cheers!
