Brief Answer:
No need to worry it will go in sometime.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query at HCM
I understand your concern.

No I see there is no need to be anxious and worried. These symptoms are usually seen after viral infections of upper respiratory tract like rhinovirus, influenza, adenovirus, etc. These will last for few days only. Eat healthy and protein rich balanced diet, multivitamins and calcium supplements. Do saline or chlorhexidine gargles. If expectoration increases then you must visit a physician for proper evaluation. You might need sputum examination also to see if secondary infection with bacteria and X Ray. If infection you might need antibiotics.

I hope I answered your query.

Many thanks. I am paranoid of cancer, aids and ither serious illnesses. It rarely takes me this long (nearly 3 weeks) to recover from viral symptoms hence my contact. Is 3 weeks at this time of year normal recovery time? Fyi went to Docs and heart and lungs fine, no noticeable lumps. Thanks .
