Brief Answer:
It is HIV non reactive...

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX ,

I understand your concern.

I am Dr. Arun Tank, infectious disease specialist, answering your concern.

The period from the entry of HIV in the host and the appearance of detectable levels of HIV specific antibodies is called "Window Period".

During this period individual is infected, is infectious to others but is seronegative i.e. HIV tests for detecting antibodies are negative.

Window period or seroconversion illness in HIV is variable from 3 weeks to 3 months and may be longer in very few individuals.

Test result of 0.12 after 4.5 month by CMIA is considered to be good result as non reactive.

Just one last question. Can deep throat kissing causes HIV? Do you know any such cases?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Arun (5 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Kissing never causes HIV..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Deep throat kissing never causes HIV because saliva contains some inhibitor substance which inhibit the HIV replication.

So deep throat kissing and oral sex won't cause HIV.

We haven't noticed any case yet.
