Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Your question is interesting however I can give lots of information if I go in to detail. I will try my best to summarize information and give you brief answer.

Latuda- lurasidone is an atypical 2nd generation anti psychotic medicine. It is used in schizophrenia and bipolar depression (may be used as either monotherapy or adjunctive therapy with lithium or valproate in bipolar). Dose related somnolence (sleepiness), akathasia(inner restlessness), increased fasting glucose , nausea and parkinsonism are common side effects. I is safer than abilify in case of pregnancy use and category B drug. Its precise mechanism is unknown; efficacy suggested to involve mediation of central dopamine type 2 and serotonin type 2 (5HT-2A) receptor antagonism

Abilify - aripirazole is also second generation atypical anti psychotic drug however it is also called anti manic agent. It is used in schizophrenia (more than the latuda and abilify long acting injections are available) and in acute and maintenance treatment of manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar I disorder, either as monotherapy or as adjunct to lithium or valproate. It is also used in major depressive disorder in low dose as an augmenting agent adjunctively with other antidepressants. Common side effects are headache, agitation, insomnia, anxiety, nausea and vomiting, akathisia, light-headedness and constipation. It is partial agonist at dopamine D2 and serotonin type 1 (5-HT1A) receptors; antagonist at serotonin type 2 (5-HT2A) receptor; also has alpha-blocking activity. It has more drug interactions than those of latuda.

Lamictal - lamotgine is an anticonvulsant drug. it is used in seizure disorders. it is also used in bipolar disorders for maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder to delay the time to occurrence of mood episodes (depression, mania, hypomania, mixed episodes) in patients treated for acute mood episodes with standard therapy however efficacy and safety have not been established for treatment of acute manic or mixed episodes. Dizziness, diplopia, headache, ataxia, blurred vision, rhinitis and somnolence are common side effects. It inhibits release of excitatory amino acid glutamate and inhibits voltage-sensitive sodium channel, which stabilizes neuronal membranes.

We cannot compare lamictal with other two as they have different mechanism of actions.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
