What Is The Dosage For Adderall?
Question: I have been on adderall ir 30 mg 3x daily for at least a year. My Doctor is fully aware I double my dosage at Times because I have Chrons and chronic pancreatitis and with MY digestion as is it is I have to or it doesn't work.
I am also hypermetabolic.
I am trying adderall xr. Trying to understand is a 30 mg capsule two 30 mg doses 4 hours Apart or is it two 15 mg doses_ ?

Usually, the dosage for Adderall XR 30 mg is 30 mg taken on daily basis in the morning (upon awakening), especially if it is used for longer periods. So, it is used as only one dose in the morning.
I have gone through your medical history and noted that you are taking a really large dosage of Adderall.
Anyway, if your doctor advised to take it thrice daily, I should have a look at his/her prescription first.
It is not recommended to divide and take it in the afternoon to avoid sleep problems. You can take the whole pill (around 30 mg) in the morning upon awakening.
