Detailed Answer:
Good evening

thank you for writing on health care magic

Well, I have gone through your reports and the prescription attached. I have a couple of doubts here

1. How much of medrol dose was she taking? and for how much duration?

2. IS there any swelling of the joints as well or just pain??

Well, it does happen when you are on oral steroids for a long time, your body gets habitual to it and the moment you stop it, there is always a lot of fatigue and pain. Injection depomedrol is a good alternative to compensate for the pains and steroid withdrawal. But you need to have a proper dose. 80 mg intra muscular. weekly for 4 weeks is the recommended one, half of 40 mg is a bit less for the management of arthritis.
And you can take Tablet Ultracet alternatively for the pain episodes. Just make sure , she doesnt take too much of Nucoxia as it can be harmful if not taken in proper dosing.

Lastly, nothing against your physician but at present she is on 3 drugs of Rheumatoid arthritis but none of them are on full dose. So, that is one thing you can discuss with them to go to full dose of DMARDS ( maybe Folitrax and Lefno will do) . That will help control the disease better and minimize the number of medicines and pain killers use as well

Hope the information was useful

Brief Answer:
Depomedrol injection

Detailed Answer:
Good morning XXXXXXX

Well, she is on a very low dose of Folitrax. Normally we start from 15 and go upto 25. So if we remove her steroids and keep her on low dose of folitrax, it will definitely increase her joint pains as the dose needed to control the disease is not enough. Is she taking Cleft and HCQS also???

For depomedrol, Take 80 mg of injection( that is 2 ml) from a staff nurse nearby once in a week( like every sunday) for next 4 weeks. That will help control the pain and swelling.

If you could tell me your exact location, I can guide you to a rheumatologist so he can streamline your treatment and then you can follow up with your Physician once.

Available rheumatologist

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Well, from XXXXXXX I am not too sure if XXXXXXX is closer to you or XXXXXXX XXXXXXX you can visit SGPGI or KGMC. They have huge departments there at present. If you want to come to XXXXXXX I can guide you for that as well

The hemoglobin is low as her disease is still active. It is not due to steroids but due to rheumatoid arthritis. Once the disease gets controlled , it will go up as well.

Her treatment needs to be streamlined before it complicates further..

Do let me know whatever you feel comfortable with
