I understand how long am I protected for further exposures and why do they recommend two boosters on every exposure if I'm protected from my previous vaccination also what do my titres need to be to have protective immunity
Brief Answer:
RFFIT test
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for follow up query.
As dog bite was on the day of booster dose, antibodies levels will be sufficiently high , so further dose not required. We recommend booster dose for any bite with previous history of complete vaccination. For confirmation you can get rapid fluorescent focus inhibition test(RFFIT) done. Titres more than 2.5IU/ml is protective.
