Question: Hello, I injured my lower back on July 8 2016, I am scheduled for a Hemi-laminectomy .. It is extremely painful ... I have no feeling in Left shin and extreme pain in Left Knee and inner left thigh and spasms in lower left back ... I take Percocet 10/325 amd 600 mg Gabopeten 2 times a day ... How log of a hospital stay shouls I expect after surgery and is is ok to take additional OTC Tylenol ?

If everything goes well after the operation and if you don't suffer from any significant previous health condition such pulmonary or cardiac problems, only few days (2-3) are necessary to stay in hospital after hemilaminectomy.

You can also use additional Tylenol in low doses (3x500 mg) since percocet contains acetaminofen too.
