Brief Answer:
Considerations.

Detailed Answer:
thank you for sending your question.

I can appreciate that you are dealing with a stressful situation. I want you to understand at the same time that we have excellent chemotherapy to treat ovarian cancer.

Generally the best combination regimen for treatment of ovarian cancer involves the use of carboplatinin addition to Taxol.

these two medications are given together every three weeks generally 46 cycles. Your doctor will continue to monitor you want a regular basis. He will also probably check tumor marker levels.

this combination chemotherapy is generally very well-tolerated. As with any chemotherapy however, you might experience some mild side effects.

Even in stage four cancer, we are doing a better and better job at controlling these diseases so people can live very long lives while we keep the disease under control.

thanks again for sending your question. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns in the future.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
