Hi XxXX!
I read your query very carefully. Unfortunately your brother has severe heart failure which has a poor prognosis.
Overall survival for one year is very low less than 10% and the fact that liver is damaged to increase the risk of eminent death.
However I recommend continuing the treatment and waiting for heart transplant.
Wish you and your brother all the best!

Thank you , but he doesn't qualify for heart transplant. Doctors told us he will be sent to a Hospice, and to advise fam. who need to travel from outside the States to come to see him within the next days. We want to take him home if he has less than 3 months to live. Doctors are not telling us days but advise everyone comes ASAP

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Unfortunately for him he didn't qualify for heart transplant. So his disease has a poor prognosis and he has minimal probability of survival after three months.
However is very difficult to predict an exact time of someone death, this is why his doctor recommended the familiar should come to see him.
My opinion is that you should wait 1-2 weeks to see any improvement on his overall status. If no improvement than you can take him back to home.
Wish you and your brother health!
