I have mentioned not to apply gel directly on penis when condom is not used due to chances of getting less or no sensation and excitement by anesthetic effect of lignocaine. Yes you are right that when penis enters the anus lignocaine will come in contact with penis but no need to worry as Lignocaine is not harmful.

Yes you can use spray or even slight amount of lignocaine before wearing the condom to delay ejaculation.Same effect of delaying ejaculation will be noticed when condom is not used and penis will come in contact with lignocaine applied in anus.

If you have never used lignocaine in past first you need to check sensitivity of lignocaine. Just apply thin layer of two drops of gel on your penis and wait for two hours. If you do not find any burning or problem, you would not have any problem during use. However if you find itching,redness, rash or burning,wash it immediately with plenty of water and avoid use of lignocaine in future.
