What Is The Window Period For An HIV Test?

Question: Hi dr
I have a risk exposure on Feb 7-8 night.
Fingering and common sex with an unknown status girl.
Now I am feeling depressed.
I have done rapid testing on 35th day.
After 4 month.on 1 st August I took rapid test in which a very faint (not coloured) appeared.
2 ANTIBODIES CMIA t st on 2 nd August and last test on 6th August which has non reactivity with .14 and .08 index.
I am worried about 1st August very faint colourless line but after that I had two CMIA negative at 180 days.

Brief Answer:
NO possibility of infections
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear XXXXX
Understand your concern
Rapid reagent test is not very accurate.
It is qualitative test.
Antibodies CMIA test is accurate than rapid test and quantitative test.
Your antibodies CMIA test was non reactive.
It suggests you have no any sexual transmitted infections.
You can trust the result of antibodies CMIA test.
If still you have worry, then you should go for PCR RNA/DNA test for sexual transmitted diseases (PCR is gold standard test).
Use safe sex practice in future.
Hope I answered your question.
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
