Went to clinic and was given antibiotic - Amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium.
Does not appear to help.
Brief Answer:
Sputum cluture
Detailed Answer:
Hi
You should go back to the clinic and ask for sputum culture to determine the nature of organism and its sensitivity. Along with it you should be advised expectorant to bring out sputum easily. A chest Xray and routine blood and urine investigations are also needed.
Normally Amoxicillin and Clavulanate are given for every suspected case of bronchitis and pneumonia. The organisms vary with any underlying medical condition.
Hope this points you to the right direction.
