Brief Answer: DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for uploading all scan reports. 1) Your ultrasound scan report is absolutely NORMAL. Obstetric Ultrasound scan gives gross and detailed view on the basis of fetal maturity at the time of scan. You should know that development of fetus may be advance or lagging (as in this case) from actual gestational age (calculated from last period date). Fetal maturity may not always correspond with that. However, ONE week lagging is NORMAL thing in early weeks. 2) Around 6th-8th week of pregnancy, normal heart beat is 120-180 beats/ min. It gradually decreases to 120 to 160 beats/ min in the later weeks. So, everything is well enough with good cardiac activity (119 beats/ min) at this stage. You wouldn't be worried much about this. 3) Hypothyroidism or Thyroid dysfunction should be properly treated and you must continue the medicine throughout pregnancy period with effective dose to avoid CONGENITAL HYPOTHYROIDISM, DELAYED GROWTH & LOW INTELLIGENCE. 4) Follow some basic guideline for healthy pregnancy: a) Take Healthy protein diet with extra 350 Kcal/ day than usual and eat leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. b) Drink lots of fluid/ water to stay hydrated and for better feto-placental circulation. c) Continue prescribed medication with Folic acid and Vitamin supplements up to 16 weeks. d) Take an adequate bed rest and preferably 8-10 hrs daily in divided schedule. e) Try to avoid stress/ tension/ emotional upset by regular breathing exercise in the morning or meditation. f) Maintain genital hygiene and take breast care properly. Avoid unprotected sexual intercourse in first & third trimester. g) Periodic measurement of Weight gain and BP. 10-12 kg weight gain is normal in pregnancy period. h) Do periodic check up to your consulting doctor and proceed FTS Blood test along with NT scan as per schedule. These are primary screening test to detect chromosomal abnormality including Down Syndrome. Hope, this information is quite helpful to you. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query. Wish your good health and successful motherhood.
