Question: What is the belrubin level for a eleven days old for photo therapy and how long this jaundice stays for a rh Negative Mother Giving Birth To rh positive baby please help

Brief Answer: Relax when baby is 10 day plus.. Detailed Answer: Often if any damage has to be caused due to these issues.... it usually happens before ten days of life. Usually in these babies jaundice may stay up to 15 for 15 days. Level of phototherapy for bilirubin is often taken as 5 times weight of child. If it remains in this range after 10days of life then other causes of jaundice need to be looked for. Hope this information suffices. Let me know if you need clarifications. Regards
