What Symtoms To Be Monitored After An Arm Injury In A Heart Patient?

Question: Good day! My father fell yesterday, did not hit his head as he broke his fall with his hands, minor abrasions. However a bruise developed in the crook of his right arm. I elevated, applied ice dealt with the other abrasions and monitored. 3 hours later the bruise went from size of a quarter to the size of a baseball. Attended er, no breaks. same protocol: ice elevation, pain killers. I just spoke with him and he is nauseous. no tingling, pain increased swelling spread over a larger area. He is 85, 1 kidney, heart problems has 6 stents. recently as of last tuesday, reduction of plavix meds. did not take yesterday thank god or he would have been bleeding profusely. My question is this: What do i monitor for before taking him back to the hospital? Clearly his blood vessels are extemely fragile and possible ripped in his fall. What is the medical recourse for such an injury? Thank you for your assistance.
Brief Answer:
Careful
Detailed Answer:
Dear
I'm sorry for what happens to your father
Anyway as your father has no symptoms of brain damage or bones fracture I don't think there is need to worry too much
Dear It need some monitoring these first hours, meaning control his vital functions, blood presion, cardiac frequencies, his mental state (confusion) ,and headache or vomiting.
In my opinion I think he will be fine tomorrow and you will have to take care just about the injury in his arm.
Hope my answer helps you
