What Unusual High Body Temperature?

Question: My daughter had fever last week, now cured with medicine, but my concern is about her body temperature , it's still 98-99 not coming down, suspecting about fever, please suggest me on this

Fevers in children of this age is usually caused due to certain viral infections. Viral infections can last for 5-15 days. So if the temperature is slightly raised for more than a week, I would not really worry. Just give paracetamol if the temperature is higher than 100F.

However, if the temperature goes high and the fever lasts for more than 7-10 days from the beginning, I would suggest you to get the blood tested to rule out typhoid.
