Posted on Thu, 1 Oct 2015
Question: Hello, I am 30 years old and trying to conceive. In july i checked my thyroid levels and TSH was 3.58.. . Also had one clomid 50 and clomid 100 two cycle and follical study. HCG was given to rupture follical and had contact as prescribed by doctor. Also have done tests for me and my husband and reports are normal. This month my dr has advised me to take 150 Goodova for 5 days and Fertisure F for 3 months.

Why am i prescribed for Goodova 150 and fertisure? What are its advantages as compared to Ovaashield ? Is there any side effects.

Brief Answer:
Different drug combinations

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about Goodova and fertisure.

Following is my reply:

1) Goodova contains another component called enclomiphene which is slightly different from clomid. Hence it is worth trying different medicine as you did not conceive with clomid.

2) Ovashield is a different composition altogether and hence cant be compared to goodova.

3) Fertisure is another antioxidant medicine which has different role.

4) There are no major side effects to be worried about. Remember to get follicular growth scan to check follicular growth in each cycle.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Brief Answer:
All these medicines have different roles.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Goodova contains enclomiphene is different in composition from ovashield.

It is also different from clomid which contains clomiphene.

Role of fertisure is to reduce oxidant factors which are responsible for infertility. All these have different roles.
