Brief Answer:
Please, this would depend on his response to treatment!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this diagnosis of NHL but happy that he is being treated for this. Treatment often has serious side effects. Some suffer from more severe side effects than others. How soon he can travel would depend on his response and spectrum of side effects. If he has no issues after the last dose, traveling would be no problem. However, I will recommend that he stays back and get clearance from his oncologist before moving. Also, the immune system is very weak after chemotherapy and moving to XXXXXXX immediately where hygiene and access to care is questionable may not be a very sound and rational decision at this time. I will encourage you to focus on getting him treated and others would follow later.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and please feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Thank you for your prompt response . He has had excellent response to chemo, any side effects are mild. His oncologist has said it depends on how he feels, which is not very clear. Is there a time frame it is advisable for him not to travel after Rituximab. Thanks again.

Brief Answer:
There is no time frame and it depends on how well he feels!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your oncologist is right. There is no timeframe and it depends on how well he eels. If he feels great and you have no other concerns, then he can travel. Otherwise, there is no restriction from traveling because he is on chemotherapy. Remember cancer patients travel across the globe too receive treatment and it is never a problem.

I wish him well.
