Hello,

Rituximab is an immunosuppressive so it can lead to an increased incidence of infections. Otherwise, it is a very good option for pemphigus vulgaris considering that it is not a steroid.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kakkar S., Dermatologist
