When Should HIV Test Be Done After Exposure?

i am 28 years male. i had intercourse with a Commercial Sex Worker during my Thailand trip on 19.04.14 and i also don't know her hiv status. After completion of intercourse i found a puncture on my condom. That puncture was occurred at one side of front airy area ( bottom side of front airy area, not top of condom, ). I also noticed that my semen was out of my condom but penis was not exposed. I had removed condom immediately and cleaned my penis with paper napkin, just after this i washed my penis with warm water and soap.
As i am in window period and waiting for the 4 week to attend test, is it ok or should i go for a primarily test?
what are the my chances to get hiv ? that intercourse time was around of 5 minutes, but she was not so wet but i ejaculate inside he vagina.
I also don't know when was my condom punctured.
This was my first time to intercourse with a CSW and i had intercourse with her only one time.
I not have any kind of medical related history or problem.
But i gets cold very frequently (allergic cold).
I am affected with cold since returned from the trip.
please suggest me doctor what should i do.
Thank you
Hello dear, thank you for asking your query.
Detailed Answer:
I understand your query as well the concern. As you told you had sexual intercourse with a commercial sex worker and condom got broke & semen was also leaked out but you do not know her HIV status. So i would like to advise you better go for the following:
1 - VDRL test immediately
2 - After 4 weeks confirm it by western blot test.
3- your next query answer is chance for getting HIV. The chances approach 100% if the partner is HIV Positive.
4- Your next problem is cold allergy. Your history seems that you are having allergic rhinitis. So better consult an ENT specialist for this problem,he will guide you accordingly.
I hope I have answered your all queries. If any doubt i will be happy to help you. Try not to worry much. Good luck.
