When Will Blood Count Return To Normal After Chemotherapy?
Question: After the chemotherapy how long will it take the blood counts to return to normal. Last chemotherapy drugs were Cyclophosphamide and Cytarabine. It's been 2 weeks and his blood counts are still low. TC 1970 Neutrophils 2/25 cells. Has been advised to give Voricanazole and Linezolid. How long can these medications can be taken without any significant side effects?

Yes, sometimes it can take time to improve, like 3-4 weeks. As TLC is 1970 probably it will improve soon. If infection is there, antibiotics and antifungal as advised will be required.
To monitor side effects regular kidney and liver function monitoring required, apart from physical examination.
Voriconazole can be given for 6-8 weeks if required.
