PRK and LASIK are surgeries to correct refractive errors.

Of the two LASIK is more commonly done and is better as following surgery pain is minimal.

PRK is usually done in conditions where LASIK is considered not safe like in low corneal thickness.

This also depends on the amount and type of refractive error.

Thank you for the follow up question.

Since your refractive error is not high you can undergo either of the two procedures.PRK can correct upto 4-6 dioptres and LASIK can correct upto 10 dioptres of refractive error.
Since the corneal thickness is good I would prefer LASIK over PRK.
PRK is also good procedure but the only problem is pain in the postoperative period.
Hence I would prefer to go with LASIK.
