Why Are Ecosprin, Tonact, Biselect, Pan 10mg And Ramcor Taken?
I have discussed the functionalities in the body of the answer.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
* Ecosprin contains Aspirin in low dose. Low dose aspirin prevents the platelets from forming a clotting within the blood vessels. If such a clot was formed, it could get lodged in the finer arteries of the heart and could cause a heart attack. Ecosprin prevents that.
* Tonact contains Atorvastatin. It is a drug that prevents the body from synthesizing cholesterol. Thus it is a lipid lowering agent. Excess lipids get deposited in the blood vessels of the heart and could thereby decrease the blood flow to the heart which could result in chest pain.
* Biselect is a beta blocker. It reduces blood pressure and heart rate, and thereby reduces the metabolism of the heart. It thus has a cardioprotective action and has been statistically shown to prolong life.
* Ramcor contains ramipril which reduces blood pressure as well as has a beneficial (protective) action on the blood vessels of the kidneys.
* Pan contains pantoprazole which reduces gastric acid secretion.
Hope that clarifies your queries.

Could you please suggest how long we can take those tablets, as a scenario we can take for a month or more than that. And also what are the side effects may happen. Is intake of ECOSPRIN for long time is advisable?
If your father has definite and proven heart disease, ecosprin is needed.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
It is important to take ecosprin (aspirin). A low dose generally does not generally cause inadvertent bleeding. But nevertheless, the possibility of increased bleeding during an accident cannot be ruled out. Now, you have to evaluate whether the likelihood of some road traffic accident is more than that of a cardiovascular accident. If the probability of the latter is more, ecosprin needs to be given.
