Why Can't My Child Feel Her Leg?
Question: My four year old daughter has a headache and mild fever and is now saying she can not feel her right leg. No known major medical issues. No other signs. She can move both legs.
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Children under 4 years of age and commonly exposed to recurrent infection.
Grossly, the current symptoms seem like a minor episode of viral infection.
It would help me in formulating a better answer if you can provide me the following details, like:
1. Since when is she having these symptoms?
2. Is her nose congested?
3. Does she complaint of nausea, vomiting, sore throat, difficulty in swallowing?
4. Is she able to walk normally?
5. Does she report of difficulty while passing urine / stool?
6. Has she report of reduced sensation of limbs in the past?
Awaiting your reply
Regards
