Why Does Period Occur After Doing Salpingectomy?
Question: why do i still have my period after doing salpingectomy
Hello and thanks for the query.
Salpingectomy doesn't affect the periods and you should have normal menstruation cycle, although may be delayed or early.
If any other question you have in your mind, please do let me know.
Best of luck.
Thanks

but how can i have my period if i do not have an ovary??no OVA??
Hello
Menstrual periods depend upon the female hormones produced by ovaries and pituitary gland.
You are having one ovary intact on the left side which is producing the hormones.
In salpingectomy only fallopian tube is removed and not the ovary.
OVA has no relation with your menstrual periods.
It is only female hormones, which result in periods and moreover ova are being made in your left ovary but they can not come to uterus since Fallopian tube has been removed. These ova ultimately are destroyed in the ovary itself.
Thanks
