Why Would My Spine Hurt When I Swallow?
Question: Why would my spine hurts when I swallow?
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Having pain in the back on swallowing can be due to acid peptic disease or reflux oesophagitis. Another cause is muscle sprain in the back which causes tensing up of muscles on every movement including swallowing.
Hiatus hernia and cervical spondylosis also need to be ruled out after proper examination by your physician.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
