Will A Dose Of Oxycodone Harm The Fetus?

Question: I am currently delivering on Thursday morning be have been perscribed oxycodone 5mg for migraines and Tylenol 3 as they can be paralyzing. I took half a oxycodone tonight which is what I normally take when they surface and they have been bad for a week now. I am worried my baby will withdrawal at birth please help. I don't want to harm my baby. Also how long do drugs stay in the placenta?

A single dose of oxycodone will not cause any withdrawal symptoms in the baby. Most of the drug gets cleared from the body in 72 hours. Only traces are left which do not cause any harm to the baby. Such occasional intake on as and when required basis is not worrisome.

I've taken it over the week at a half dosage as I've had them almost all week. Is that still ok?
