Will Getting A Pap Smear Test While Spotting Give False Negative?

Result doesn't change on spotting.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Pap Smear test is a method of cervical screening to detect pre-cancerous and cancerous cells in the endocervical canal (transformation zone).
However, test result DOESN'T change due to spotting or mild vaginal bleeding if liquid-based cytology is used instead of conventional Pap test. It is better method.
Additionally, HPV test can be undergone in case of any doubt of test result. Kindly, consult with your doctor regarding this.
Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.
Wish your good health and take care yourself.
