Question: I take 6mg. of klonopin daily. Due to a screw up i have enough for 2ms a day for 2 weeks. wILL THIS GIVE ME PROBLEMS

Brief Answer: Sudden dose reduction will cause severe withdrawal Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for your query. kLONOPIN contain clonazepam. It is used for short term for anxiety. Its long term use (more than weeks) in higher doses (like 6 mg per day in your case) lead to physical dependance on it (which is similar for daily alcoholic on alcohol). If it is stopped suddenly or reduced suddenly, then patient develop severe withdrawal like: anxiety, palpitation, restlessness, lack of sleep and seizure (in some cases). Wish you good health.
