Hi ! I Have Been Getting Very Tender And Sudden
Question: hi ! I have been getting very tender and sudden sharp stomach pains and also stomach spasms ? if I lay completely flat it makes it worse!

I need some more information.
1.What is the exact location of pain over Abdomen?
2.Whether pain is associated with vomiting,fever or loose stool?
3.What is the duration of pain?
4.How does it come down?
5.Whether any investigations like Ultrasound abdomen or Plain X-ray Abdomen are done?
6.Is it related to Menstruation?
I prefer an Ultrasound abdomen and Plain X-ray Abdomen in erect posture to my patients with similar complaints.
Till investigations,I prescribe Antispasmodic tablet containing Dicyclomine and Proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole to my patients.
Nothing to worry.

1) The pain is mostly over my pelvic area but also I got bit of pain on the left side of my stomach.
2) I'm not sure what are pain is from ?
3) The pain has like waves of sharp pain and lasts probably 5 minutes every time.
4) when the pain stops it almost feels like someone is squeezing my intestines.
6) it happens even when not on cycle !
I have had ultra sounds done and they said that it was all ok? I do PCOS (poly cystic ovararian syndrome)

Regarding IBS like symptoms,you should be relaxed.Anxiety may Increase the peristalsis as well as Spasms.
If nothing is working, you can go to a Surgical Gastroenterologist and proceed with Diagnostic Laparoscopy where intra Abdominal organs can be visualised.
