- Please have a look at attached X-ray of my mother aged 58yrs , He had a hip bone replacement surgery in 2012.
- Doctors suggested a revision THR may not be possible or may fail so they adviced to just get he hip implant removed to reduce the pain( Girdlestone procedure )

My Query :
1) Are the patients able to walk after Girdlestone procedure ?
2) What are the movement that will be hampered after surgery , movement in the operated leg like bending of knee are possible or not ?
