1 Month Old Child, Fell From Bed, Head Injury, No Vomiting Or Pupil Dilation. Internal Injury?
Hi, my one month old baby feel from bed last evening. She cried for 1 minute but then was ok. Her behaviour and limbs everything seems normal. No external injury on head. I checked for pupil dilation it is also normal. no vomitings. But still I am am very much scared if some internal injury happened. What all symptoms i can look out for?
Your baby seems alright with no internal injuries and you also seem to be well informed on what to look out for .
But you will need to observe her one more day for the following signs and symptoms
1. Excessive crying and very irritable
2. not feeding well
3. seizures
4. bulging of the anterior fontanelle
5. vomiting
6.not moving any of her limbs
7.any deviation from her normal activity
You will need to consult a doctor in case of any of the above symptoms
