1 Year Old, Had Immunization, Fever, Swollen Eyes, Orange Discharge, Brown Mucus In Nose. Suggestions?
My 1year old had her immunisation wed and since I cannot keep her temp below 37.9! Even though she's had calpol and flannels everything! On Monday she has moulds of her hands and it went on her face, the following morning her eye was v swollen and red so I'm went to the docs who have us anti biotic cream as I was worried some had gone in her eye!! Her eye is still swollen and has orange discharge! Her nose is also coming out with brown mucus with bits of blood! Help?!?!
I would recommend that you remove flannels if your daughter has a temperature of 37.9C. Keep her in a comfortable environment and do not overclothe her. By overclothing you are not allowing the heat to dissipate and the temperature to fall down.
Swollen eyes and running nose means that your daughter is having some infection which needs to be addressed. Kindly request your doctor for a re-examination of the child and management accordingly.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
