1 Year Old Having Persisting Cough. Cold, Watery Stool, Rashes. Medication?

hi my daughter is 1year n 1month old having cough from almost 20 days. she vomits out of cough.from 4 days she is having cold as well. every now n then she is passing smelly watery stool.she gets potty rashes with watery stool! please help....please suggest me medication n food to give or don't give her. whenever we give her oral medicine she gags n finally vomits!

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

If your baby is having cough from the last one 20 days then your baby needs to be examined and investigated.

Does your baby have any of the following problems?

1.     Rapid breathing.
2.     Chest indrawing while breathing.
3.     Abnormal noise while breathing.
4.     Nasal flaring
5.     Bluish discoloration of fingers (cyanosis)
6.     Irritability or lethargy
If your baby has any of these you should consult your doctor immediately
