11 Weeks Pregnant. Regestrone- Smg Taken. Should We Carry On With The Pregnancy?

My wife had three ceaserean in past.the last was carried out in April,2007.Now she is again pregnant and the same is about 11 weeks old as per Ultrasound report while the date of last PMS is 14th Feb,13.In the meantime she had also taken 10 tablets of Regestorene-SMG at the interval of 5 tab(Once daily) in the 3rd week of March,2013 and 1st week of April,13.Now what is the option for me,we may go for abortion or carry it.
With best regards

Hello
Thanks for your query.
Registrone contains norethisterone.
This drug is not recommended during pregnancy as it causes certain side effects in the baby.
However, you have to weight the benefits of continuation versus the risk of termination after three cesarean sections.
The dose taken is very small, and in any situation, abnormalities occur in any normal population with a background risk of 1 %.
Please consult a genetic counsellor to know the exact odds of having an abnormal child.
Take care.
