12 Year Kid, Burning Sensation After Urination. What Should Be Done To Reduce Pain?

My 12 year old daughter is experiencing burning after urination.The burning is so intense she is in tears while in the bathroom.The urologist thinks it is muscles not working together combined with constipation.This has been going on over 6 months. We have seen a MD, gyn and urologist. Her urine test won't be back until Monday. What can I do for her pain. I can't stand to see her suffer this way. Please help.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Is she has any itching over genitals?
Scratching may cause maceration of skin and mucous membrane and it may cause severe burning sensation during urination. If so, find out the reason for itching (fungal infection, scabies, dermatitis, eczema etc.) and we have to treat for the same. Any other tiny abrasion or the presence of any ulcer also may be a reason for the burning sensation after urination.
let her become well soon.
