12 Year Old, Persistent Cough, Tiny Red Dot On Tongue. Given Amoxil. Treatment?

My 12 year old daughter has had a persistant cough for about 10 days now, and has had amoxil for 4 days with no improvement. In fact it seems to be getting worse and sounds almost like a whooping cough .Her throat is also sore This morning I have noticed tiny little red dots on the front of her tongue , otherwise she says she feels o.k.

you should give your daughter azithromycin. and get done a chest xray. if she is having fever then treat with paracetamol. some antihistaminics may also give her some relief.
