14 Month Old Child, Vomiting After Drinking. Previously Diagnosed With Acid Reflux. Prevacid Effective. Advise?

My 14 month old daughter is vomiting at least once a day. She never throws up what she eats, only what she drinks. She was diagnosed with acid reflux at 4 days and was on Zantac for about 9 months, she got better so her pediatrician took her off the meds. Then about 12 months, she started throwing up 5-6 times a day. They started the zantac back, no luck, so swapped her to prevacid. This worked for about 6 weeks, now we are throwing up again. She drinks soy milk.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Why are you giving her Soy milk? Is she allergic to normal milk?

Some time food allergy can also present like this.

If the symptoms persists even after taking prevacid then prokinetics as prescribed by your doctor may be useful.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
