14 Year Old Kid, Fever And Chills. Urine Analysis Done. Suggestions?
A 14 year old boy is brought to the pediatrician by his mother because of fever accompanied with chills for the past day. The physician had noted that he has a temperature of 39.6 and has a mild right costovertebral angle tenderness. The urinalydis results are shown below:
History and urine analysis suggests that young boy is suffering from urinary tract infection. He also needs culture sensitivity of urine and ultrasound of KUB region. He needs antibiotics for UTI and paracetamol for fever. He can also take alkalizing drugs for urine PH correction that is altered in UTI.
