15 Year Old Taken 3 Ativian Tablets, Citalopram After Drinking. Anything To Worry?

my son has taken 3 of my Ativan and he is talking as if he has been drinking, he is 15yrs, 210lbs 6ft and I am worried
I also went in his room because my pill bottle "Citalopram and Ativan" was spilled over and on his dresser was crushed up pills so I have asked him if he snorted it he will not honestly tell me, I am worried.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

If one is not sure if the medicines have been consumed it is better to err on the wrong side. I suggest you seek medical help and ensure that he does not have effects of the overdose of the medication.

Secondly, if he is habituated to alcohol and drugs then you need to seek expert guidance so that your son can be taken off these substances and his energy be channelised for more creative work rather than towards socially unacceptable behaviour.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your son all the best.

Regards,
